Dear students, in this unit you will familiarize yourself to the concept of climate basic in general. First you will define the terminologies and describe the elements and controls of weather and climate based on agro-ecology major classes. By following this you will discuss how Ethiopian climate and its agro-ecological characteristics are unique. It is also expected to differentiate between local and global factors of climate and the dominant controls of Ethiopian climate
