Applied Animal Nutrition

In this course, topics including nomenclature and general characteristics of common feedstuffs (roughage, protein, energy, feed additives, non-conventional feed stuffs); feed evaluation;feeding standards, nutrient requirements of livestock, ration formulation, conservation and storage of feed stuffs, feeding practices and feed processing technology, and the role of biotechnology in animal nutrition should be addressed.
